Donate to Page Ahead

Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the State of Washington. All contributions made to Page Ahead are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by federal law. For more information, contact the Washington Secretary of State's Charities Division.

Donate Money

We have negotiated with publishers to receive deep discounts on books. Therefore, your cash contribution goes even further toward preventing illiteracy.

We use a free service to process our credit card transactions, so 100 percent of your donation goes to Page Ahead. When you donate, it will appear as "Give Direct" on your credit card statement, not Page Ahead.

Donate a Book on Our Wishlist

Do you want to donate a book but don't know which one? Choose from a list of tried-and-true favorites. You can also choose from among popular selections at Amazon.com.

Shop at Amazon or Bartell Drugs'

Every time you use the link below to shop at Amazon.com, Page Ahead receives a percentage of the price of any of your purchases -- from books to yoga mats! This charitable donation from the Amazon Associates Program doesn't cost you a thing and benefits Page Ahead. Make your shopping dollars count for more: shop Amazon via Page Ahead.

Organize a Book Drive

Page Ahead works with businesses, school groups and community organizations to collect new books to be distributed through our programs. We also link groups to specific schools for "adoption." Volunteers provide the books (through book drives or cash contributions) for the at-risk children in a program and then participate in reading events within those programs.

Volunteer

Last year, 500 volunteers spent 3,000 hours sorting/packing books, reading to children, preparing bulk mailings, organizing book drives, designing our web site, and updating our database. We are happy to work with individuals or with groups of volunteers on a regular or occasional basis.
